GadgetShieldz for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Review

Do you know GadgetShieldz? Gadgetshieldz is one of the competitor of Zagg. Their product is full body scratch-proof transparent handphone skins. Gadgetshieldz skins protector is like Zagg’s‘ but with cheaper price plus free shipping. What do you want more with USD 7.49, it’s only RM 26++ compared to non-branded RM10 screen (screen only) protector in Malaysia (i live in Malaysia). Using this code “PPCSG15″, i get 15% discount for my Gadgetshieldz and i only pay USD 6.37. But now they have 20% discount coupon “PPCSG20″. You can compare with Zagg invisibleSHIELD’s price here. Who wins? Of course Gadgetshieldz skins protector.

How to Know The Speed of Network Interface Card (NIC) in Linux

Yesterday morning, i went to one of my site in Kuala Lumpur. I am doing my job in my client’s data centre. During that time, my client entered the data centre and asked me

“Azim, do you know how to check the speed of network interface card in Linux?”

I blanked.

“Let me google first”, I said to her. Thanks to this post by cyberciti.biz. Below is the command to check your NIC speed in Linux

# dmesg | grep -i duplex

And the output is

eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0×45E1
