Using Cisco IOS Command Line Interface (CLI) Help Features

This is my first Cisco tutorial in my blog. I will post more Cisco tutorial for my blog readers soon. In linux, freebsd, cisco command line interfaces, help features is very important for beginners to explore CLI-based system more. Key points for this tutorial are

1. Use ? to get help
- The router will give output what to do next. Examples:

gmbrttshj

gmbrttsmbung

2. For command with long output:
- The space bar tell IOS to send another paragraph to the screen
- The enter key tell IOS to send one more single line
- Any other key ends the output of a long command

I hope this short tutorial will guide you to explore Cisco IOS’ CLI. I think better to post short tutorial, save my blog reader’s time. As usual, feel free to comment in my blog.
